Request Support – Students

This monetary support is given to a Carleton Social Work student project that has been accepted for presentation at a conference. The funds are intended to support students with ancillary fees of attending a conference (travel, hotel, etc.)

Eligibility

All participants must be current Carleton Social Work students (undergrad, masters, or PhD) OR a graduate of these programs
If accepted, participants must provide the Centre with photos of the presentation to be used on CSPSC website, and/or future promotions
If accepted, participants must mention CSPSC as a supporter in all social media posts, and conference promotions

Tax Information

If you are accepted by this program, and you are receiving more than $500 total in awards or other supports from Carleton, you will receive a T4A (even if the money comes from different sources).

Students participating must currently be enrolled in Carleton’s School of Social Work (BSW, MSW or Phd), or a graduate of these programs. Also note, the award amount is awarded per project, not per person. The funds will be split evenly between Main Applicant and Student Collaborators, sent via cheque to address in student’s Carleton Central profile.
