CBOT at Other Institutions
Brock University – Faculty Guide and Online Module
In spring 2015, Brock launched a new version of their Faculty Guide and Online Module to help instructors plan, design, develop and teach technology-enhanced courses and programs. The guide and online module incorporates videos and segments originally developed for the Certificate in Blended and Online Teaching. This resource is available to Brock instructors via their institutional LMS, and is published openly here. Ontario Western Region Colleges – Educator Development Program Online Modules
Ontario’s six western region colleges – Conestoga, Fanshawe, Lambton, Mohawk, St. Clair and Niagara – have long collaborated on the provision of the multi-phase College Educator Development Program (CEDP) for all new full-time faculty members in their colleges. In August 2015, the CEDP launched six online learning modules to provide instructors with opportunities to gain competency in, or brush up on, areas of teaching practice that are common to educators across disciplines in their colleges. These modules benefitted from open access resources, such as Carleton’s Certificate in Blended and Online Teaching project. These new resources are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License and are available for download from merlot.org.
