We are thrilled to announce that our team has been awarded Carleton University’s Research and Development Grant to work on fault-tolerant electric motors for electrified vehicles.

The largest obstacle to the mass adoption of electrified transportation has been to create an affordable and reliable EV. To address this, the goal of this research, at the component level, is to develop fault detection and diagnosis techniques for continued functionality and performance of electric motors (eā€“motors) for an EV application.
