Brittany Amell is a PhD Candidate in the School of Linguistics and Language Studies at Carleton University. Her research interests might look all over the map, but if you peer a little longer you’ll see that she’s mostly interested in higher education research, particularly when it relates to the intersecting matters of scholarship and equity. Her current PhD research focuses on reimagining doctoral dissertations. She draws on writing studies and emotional geographies to frame her understandings of her research praxis.
