2025 President’s Golf Tournament – Monday, August 18, 2025
Carleton University hosted its 18th annual President’s Golf Tournament on Monday, August 18, 2025. Thanks to the generous sponsorship support of 44 corporate partners, the 2025 tournament raised $115,000.00 in net proceeds.
These funds directly benefit Carleton’s student experience and excellence by supporting scholarships for student athletes, supporting varsity teams and providing funding for the Ravens Fund endowment to support future athletes. Launched in 2006, the cumulative tournament proceeds from 2006-2025 are now $2,504,000.00!
With golf played at the Hylands Golf Club, we were pleased to welcome 126 golfers representing the university’s vendors and suppliers who sponsored the tournament, and a dozen student athlete volunteers to the 2025 tournament. After a great day of golf, networking and first-class hospitality, participants returned to campus for the celebratory reception and dinner hosted by Carleton’s Vice-President (Student’s and Enrolment), Suzanne Blanchard. The crowd of 150 dinner attendees included golfers, sponsors, student athletes and coaches, who were welcomed by the dinner master of ceremonies Johanna Bernardi, in-game host for Ottawa’s professional sports teams (Redblacks, 67’s and Charge), Carleton Athletics Sports Coordinator and proud Carleton journalism grad. The speaking program featured remarks from the Vice-President, student athlete testimonials by Mikaela Moser (Ravens Womens Soccer) and Dylan Rouse (Ravens Golf), and Yolana Junco, Associate Vice-President Recreation and Athletics.
