Naeim Roshan is a researcher majoring in structural fire safety design, concrete technology, corrosion of RC structures and the application of machine learning techniques. He is a PhD student at the department of fire safety at Carleton University. Naeim got his master’s degree in structural engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. During his master’s, he followed a sustainable approach in concrete technology via conducting both experimental and numerical modelling. As a part of his studies, he focused on the environmental impact of novel green concrete mixes incorporating SCMs and recycled fibers. Currently, at Carleton University, Naeim is investigating the impact of different fireproof coatings on the post-fire behavior of GFRP-RC slabs
