Kimia Fardfini is a Ph.D. student in health psychology under Dr. Burns’ supervision. She completed her HBSc in Mental Health Studies at the University of Toronto and her M.A in Psychology at Carleton University alongside Dr. Burns.
Her proposed doctoral dissertation aims at elucidating the associations among positive psychological well-being, health behaviours and management among folx with diabetes. Kimia is also interested in treatment adherence, psychosocial health, and dyadic associations with health outcomes. Currently, Kimia holds the SSHRC Doctoral Fellowship.
