Laura Polakova completed her MA student working under the supervision of Drs. Rachel Burns and Kim Corace. Her thesis research is focused on exploring treatment barriers among opioid dependent patients. More specifically, she will be examining the differences in presenting problems as well as the demographic differences in the population attending the RAAM (Rapid Access Addictions Medicine) clinic pre- and post-COVID-19.
