Music Matters is a unique music program which began at Elizabeth Bruyère Hospital with the help of Artswell and local jazz musicians, in downtown Ottawa. People living with dementia and their caregivers gathered each week to make music, reminisce about their past and connect with other. Simultaneously, researchers from Carleton University assessed the health benefits of this program.

This unique music program was featured in CBC’s All in a Day show on April 27, 2016.
