Helen holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Sociology from Carleton University. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in the Health: Science, Technology, and Policy program at Carleton University under the supervision of Dr. Renate Ysseldyk. Her research examines the intersections among religious and/or spiritual identities, trust in science, and healthcare experiences among older adults, with a particular interest in how beliefs and identities may shape perspectives on scientific innovations within healthcare.
Helen is deeply passionate about contributing to more inclusive and holistic approaches to care that recognize and welcome the diverse beliefs, identities, and needs of older adults.
