Taylor Arnt is a third-year undergraduate Public Affairs and Policy Management student with a specialization in development policy studies. She identifies as Ojibwe and traces her maternal heritage to the Tootinawaziibeeng Treaty Reserve in Manitoba.

Arnt is very involved in the Carleton community as the undergraduate representative on the Board of Governors for the 2018-2019 year. In addition, Arnt is employed as the clerk for Carleton University Students’ Association (CUSA) Council, sits on the Carleton Academic Student Government and serves as vice-president Communications for the Arthur Kroeger Educational Student Society.

Advocating for Indigenous rights has always been important to Arnt and she has written many of her program’s assignments on Indigenous-related topics. She is excited about the learning opportunities involved in being part of this committee.
