With over 30 years of experience in the field of education, Ingrid has founded two successful learning centers that specialize in reading difficulties. She has implemented school-wide reading programs aimed at accommodating the needs of dyslexic students in several elementary schools. As a dyslexic, and the mother of a dyslexic, Ingrid has approached education for learning differences with an insider’s lens. She connects with students, and their struggles, in a unique way.
Currently the Director of Stepping Stones Learning Centre, Ingrid is certified in multiple research-based learning interventions. She is the CEO and founder of Neuralign and the creator of the innovative Neuralign program. Her vision is to develop accessible technology solutions to aid in reading skill acquisition that was not available during her learning journey.
An international motivational speaker, Ingrid shares her experiences as a dyslexic to raise awareness about learning differences. Her credits include several appearances at professional conferences in Quebec, Ontario, and Philadelphia (USA). She has also given multiple talks in India at the Department of Occupational Therapy (Kolkata), the National Institute of Disabilities (Kolkata), the Department of Psychology at the University of Calcutta (Kolkata), the Press Club of India (New Delhi), and the Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences and Technology (Jaipur).
