I am a first-year MSc. Student in Aerospace Engineering. Prior to starting at Carleton, I earned my BSc. in mechanical engineering from the University of Alberta and worked as a consultant EIT in Alberta. My master’s project, under the supervision of Dr. Irina Garces and Dr. Mohammad Biglarbegian, is to design and create a low-cost fully 3d printed smart prosthetic sockets. Our work is currently focused on developing a pressure sensor design that can be fully 3D printed using commercial materials and integrated into prosthetic socket models. My current research interests include additive manufacturing, mechanical design, and numerical simulation. In my spare time I enjoy weightlifting, motorcycle trips, and anything outdoors.
