Contract Instructor Teaching Opportunities for Fall 2024 and Winter 2025, in the Master of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership program, School of Public Policy and Administration

Pursuant to Article 16.3 of the CUPE 4600 Unit 2 Collective Agreement, subject to Article 16.2 and 16.4 through 16.7, applications are invited from members of the CUPE 4600 bargaining unit and other interested persons to teach the following courses within the Masters of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership program.

Candidates should hold at least an M.A. degree. Priority will be given to candidates with higher research degrees and professional experience in areas related to the course material.

Applications Invited for Four Courses (Pending Budgetary Approval):

PANL 5301* (Fall, 2024, Online): Planning and Management of Integrated Fundraising. Strategic and tactical management; oversight and ethical considerations of a diversity of fundraising methods; donor relationships; and planning and managing integrated campaigns.

PANL 5304* (Fall, 2024, Online): Strategic Philanthropy and Grantmaking for Social Change. Alternative approaches to effective grantmaking and funding practices, including managing the associated accountabilities for both grantmaking bodies and recipient organizations.

PANL 5772* (Winter, 2025, Online): Special Topics in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership. One or more specialized or advanced aspects of philanthropy and nonprofit leadership, such as the ethics, history, cross-cultural dimensions and management of particular types of organizations. The topics will change each year.

PANL 5307* (Winter, 2025, Online): Community Philanthropy. Formal and informal mechanisms communities use to mobilize their assets for public benefit and social change; and analysis of major innovations and trends in community philanthropy from a global perspective.

*To be delivered pending budgetary approval. Pending budgetary approval, teaching assistance may be available
