Charlize is passionate about this field because she believes that both the earth and its people need guidance in rebuilding a more sustainable planet. She grew up in Mount Currie, British Columbia, where she spent her time riding horses and traveling around North America to compete in Indigenous organized rodeos called the INFR. Charlize is very proud and grateful to be working on the Rebuilding First Nations Governance (RFNG) project with Carleton University, as it is something her family is passionate about. She looks forward to expanding her knowledge of inherent rights.
