Program Assistant
Lucas Balog is a Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering Student at Queen’s University. He is a recipient of the Queen’s University Chancellor’s Scholarship, W.W. King Scholarship, and the James Hillier Scholarship. Lucas is a dedicated student leader and volunteer who has spent many hours as a Scout Leader, Youth Soccer Executive, University Senator, and Orientation Executive.
A tinker and inventor Lucas enjoys building and programming mechatronics systems such as wireless LED costumes, and retrofitting old alliances with IOT capabilities. Lucas is a dedicated student representative currently serving as the Queen’s University Engineering Undergraduate Senator and recently being elected Student Caucus Chair. In his downtime, Lucas enjoys baking and cooking often making creations that taste a lot better than they look. He also enjoys going on the occasional run unless it is, raining, or too sunny, or too windy, or he has too much work to do… you know what hiking is better anyway.
