John Berry
John Berry is a Professor Emeritus at Queens University, a Research Professor at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, Moscow, and a member of the advisory board for the Social Interactions, Identity, and Well-being program of CIFAR. He holds honorary doctorates from the University of Athens and Université de Genève. He has a long-standing research career concerning multiculturalism and intercultural relations, and has been especially concerned about the well-being of marginalized groups including indigenous populations and immigrants. His expertise is sought by communities and nations around the world in their effort to develop policies and programs to promote inclusiveness and well-being of vulnerable groups.
