Edited by Lab Director Kenta Asakura and Lab Affiliate Marion Bogo, we are proud to announce the publication of Volume 49, issue 2 of the Clinical Social Work Journal. Through the 16 articles in this special issue, this edited collection explores the use of simulation in advancing clinical social work education and practice. Articles in this special issue encompass three focal themes: (1) simulation-based teaching, learning and student assessment, (2) innovation using virtual simulation, and (3) simulation as a research methodology. This special issue is the first of its kind to canvas contemporary scholarly works on simulation in advancing our professional commitment to clinical social work education and practice.
