- How can I do a postdoc at the TML?
-
Dr. Horak does not have funding to support postdocs, but welcomes scholars who are able to find external postdoctoral funding (e.g. Banting fellowships, Fulbrights, SSHRC, etc.) to join the lab. Please email Dr. Horak if this is something you are interested in pursuing.
- How can I apply for a TML fellowship or research assistantship?
-
All active Transgender Media Lab fellowship and research assistant opportunities will be posted on the TML homepage under “News.” If there are no opportunities posted there, it means that there are currently no available positions. If you want to learn about plans for future paid positions, please join our mailing list!
- How can I join the Transgender Media Lab?
-
Becoming a member of the lab commits you to attending at least one lab event per academic semester and to being an active member of the lab community.
If you’re interested in joining the Transgender Media Lab, you should attend a couple of lab events to get to know the lab community. Email Dr. Horak to get invited to these events.
Once you have gotten to know the lab, you can submit an application to Dr. Horak. This should include: a short description of who you are as a scholar, an explanation of why you want to join the lab, and a CV.
