Student Bio
Matthew worked for the University of British Columbia’s department of Mechanical Engineering doing research on hydrogen fuel futures. He finished an undergraduate degree in mathematical physics, minoring in computer science, at the University of Waterloo last August. While it was hard to distill a person into a single concept, the one that characterizes him is his desire to explore – to find ways to go places and see things that most other people cannot. This manifests in many ways — a love for hiking, canoeing, and building/riding bicycles, as well as a fascination with vehicle design and development. Matthew’s goal is to be able to contribute to part of this process, helping to create new and innovative vehicles which allow us to push the limits of human knowledge and exploration.
