Student Bio
Musavir Bashir is a PhD student at École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS) in Montreal under supervision of Professor Ruxandra Botez. He received his Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from University Sains Malaysia, Penang, Malaysia. His research interests include aircraft morphing, base flow aerodynamics and smart materials. He has previously published articles in base flow aerodynamics, aircraft morphing and has also presented papers in many international conferences. He has completed several industrial projects and internships during his studies. He has received Prestigious USM Fellowship from University Sains Malaysia. He was also been awarded Student Invitee Scholarship by ISTS, ISSFD & NSAT in Matsuyama, Japan. His current research subject is the application of morphing wing technology, which is highly innovative and beyond the cutting-edge of the state-of-the art research. The understanding and fascination of research activities in aerospace discipline helped him to look forward to pursuing career in academic research and make some real contribution in his field of interest.
