Student Bio
Currently, Mr Seyed Mohammad Hashemi is PhD student at the École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS). He works under the supervision of Dr Ruxandra Mihaela Botez, Head of the Laboratory of Active Controls, Avionics, and AeroServoElasticity (LARCASE). His PhD thesis concerns the design and implementation of modern controllers for UAVs in order to avoid aerial collisions, by relying on Learning-based predicted trajectories. He has already wrote 8 referred publications as first author (4 journal and 4 conference papers) and 2 book chapters as second author.
Mr Seyed Mohammad Hashemi holds his Bachelor and Master in Sciences (MSc.) in Electrical Engineering in Electronics and Control areas, respectively. He finalized an Aerospace Engineering research project for the Iranian Elite Foundation (IEF), and as an important award, he was exempted from 21 months of military services in Iran. He has acquired 5 years of professional work experience focused on Robotics Controller Design in the Controls Department of Tajhiz Sanat Merat Co (TSM Co).
