Dr. Van De Ven is looking for enthusiastic and talented students to join the research team. Applicants should have a background in civil engineering, environmental engineering, geological engineering, geosciences, environmental sciences, or related fields.
Projects include:
- Quantification of greenhouse gas production and emissions from landfills
- Greenhouse gas reduction from landfills
- Contaminant migration during permafrost thaw
- Environmental impacts of hydrogen storage
- Environmental monitoring in the critical zone
- Gas-water flow numerical modeling
