Dr. Cole Van De Ven is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carleton University. Prior to joining Carleton University, Dr. Van De Ven was a NSERC Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Van De Ven is also a passionate teacher having taught courses on topics ranging from professional and teamwork skills learned by building and racing cardboard canoes to the fundamentals of groundwater flow.
