Kevin Hua
Master's Candidate Computer Science
Kevin is starting his Master’s in Computer Science with a specialization in Natural Language Processing (NLP) this Fall at Carleton University. He is currently finishing up a BCogSc Honours also here at Carleton University. Kevin is currently working full-time at the lab through an NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award (USRA) and is doing work that involves designing a modular client-server type system that handles various queries such as Height of Terrain (HOT), Height Above Terrain (HAT), and Line of Sight (LOS). The system is expected to handle multiple different clients at once, as well as several variants of clients including: sockets, ROS, and DIS. He is also very interested in VR/AR and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
