James Howell
Simulation Specialist
After completing my undergraduate and masters degrees in Cognitive Science at Carleton, I started working as a software developer and human subjects researcher for the ACE Lab. I enjoy working with both students and industry partners to create experiments that explore fundamental aspects of cognition. Some of my projects include creating virtual reality applications for neuropsychology and situational awareness, developing a Mars Rover task trainer in collaboration with the Canadian Space Agency, and exploring the use of high refresh rate displays in simulators.
