Murray Gamble
Technical Director of Modeling and Simulation
Murray Gamble is the Director (Technology) of Modeling & Simulation for the Advanced Cognitive Engineering (ACE) laboratory at the Carleton University Centre for Visualization and Simulation (VSIM). Prior to joining the ACE Lab, Mr. Gamble served for four years as the Vice President of Technology for The HFE Group, an Ottawa-based firm and a well recognized Canadian provider of modelling and simulation products and services, which he co-founded in 2000. Mr. Gamble began his career as an aerospace engineer for the Canadian Marconi Company (CMC) developing modeling & simulation systems for the CMC Human Factors Engineering team. Mr. Gamble’s career has focused on the innovative and cost-effective application of modeling & simulation solutions to the civilian and military business sectors and he is a recognized expert in areas of High Level Architecture (HLA) and visual simulation, often serving as a Subject Matter Expert for industry and government. Mr. Gamble is a Certified Modeling and Simulation Professional (CMSP).
