ACT to Employ helps students with disabilities find paid experiential learning opportunities that align with their academic and career goals.

ACT students have access to the following services:

  • Paid placements on campus and in the community to increase employability skills, network connections, and confidence,
  • Assistance with placement search, applications and interviews,
  • Placement check-ins,
  • Integrative and student-centered counselling related to work and disability,
  • ACT to Employ Resource Hub on Brightspace which includes modules on Professionalism, Disclosure and Accommodations, Communication (including helpful email templates) and more,
  • Bridging for new grads to community supports and opportunities.

ACT to Employ is only available to current students and new grads.
