Several opportunities are available for skilled and highly motivated graduate students interested in joining the ASME-Lab. Projects range from fundamental research with a strong focus on theoretical developments to experimental research with hardware and software development, testing and validations.
Graduate students with strong CGPAs (11/12 and above) in their undergraduate and interested in joining the lab are encouraged to contact professor Mostafa El Sayed directly. In your email, please include a copy of your transcripts (Undergrad and Master’s (if applicable)), an updated CV and a list of publications (if applicable),
Students are also encouraged to seek funding through prestigious external sources, such as NSERC and OGS. Domestic students with external fellowships (NSERC/OGS/etc…) will receive an additional Research Assistant-ship that will bring their salary among the highest salaries at Carleton (guaranteed).
There are also several opportunities for NSERC USRA-eligible domestic undergraduate students who wish to join as Research Assistants over the course of one summer. If interested, please contact Prof. El Sayed directly.
Students will be working in a cutting edge research that is both challenging and stimulating and will be exposed to hands on experience in the implementation of practical design techniques and strategies currently used in the aerospace industry.
