This project is a journalistic endeavor aimed at enhancing women’s conditions in politics and society by drawing insights from interviews conducted with women regarding women’s political participation and the future political landscape of Afghanistan. The insights gained from interviews emphasized the importance of their involvement in political processes, documenting historical moments in Afghan contemporary history on women’s political roles and participation, changes in political scenarios and changing roles of women (especially since 2001).

• Ten interviews of Afghan women leaders and civil society activists in women’s political participation were published in the NIMROKH media platform;

• Documents the role of media development in the global democratization process.

• Documents how women recollect the portrayal of Afghan women, alongside other women in Afghan media, the visibility of Afghan women in the media etc.;

• Documents the insight into the history of women’s organizational efforts to be political; roles of civil society and Western NGOs, funding politics etc.
