Elham Gharji
Research Coordinator
Dr. Elham Gharji is the Research Coordinator of the PPP project. Dr. Gharji has worked in various academic and policy research roles internationally and has taught subjects in International Relations and Central Asian studies. Between 2011 and 2014, he led the Gawharshad Institute of Higher Education (GIHE)- a non-profit private university institute in Kabul focusing on providing higher education to women and marginalized groups.
Over the last several years, Elham has held various research positions and fellowships in universities and research centers in Europe and North America, including being a Davis Center fellow at the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Harvard University, and a Visiting Fellow at the Center on Governance at the University of Ottawa, among others.
