Dr. Karim Ismail is an Associate Professor in Transportation Engineering and Associate Chair of Graduate Studies in Civil and Environmental Engineering. His research interests include modelling of sustainable modes of transportation with a special focus on non-motorized modes of transportation, road safety analysis, highway design, and modelling and evaluation of intelligent transportation systems with a special focus on freight.
