Tree-Plenish, is a college-student-led tree planting initiative that is encouraging high schoolers across the nation to protect our environment. They partner with high schools to estimate their school’s energy use, and then help them plant enough trees to offset those emissions.
This year, Tree-Plenish is rolling out a new college chapter program and are looking for sustainability minded students at Carleton who want to create their own Tree-Plenish chapters. These chapters would partner with local highschools to plan tree planting events, as well as planning their own events. This would give students valuable experience with sustainable leadership and communication.
