A broad range of options are available to make the transition from today’s energy practices to more sustainable energy future. These include new energy technologies, new approaches to design of integrated energy systems, better monitoring and control of energy end-use applications, new policy approaches based on market mechanisms and regulation, and information on how best to mobilize policy and technology. Making “success stories” better known will demonstrate how sustainable energy can be achieved in real-world applications.
As part of broadening awareness, Carleton’s current research activities are profiled in the form of vignettes.
