A Morning with Ernő Rubik: Student Competition & Discussion

Carleton University and the Embassy of Hungary to Canada are pleased to host the Rubik’s Cube Student Competition. Student are invited to come and watch as compeitors take on the challenge to solve the Rubik’s Cube under the watchful eye of Ernő Rubik, inventor of the Rubik’s Cube, the popular 3D combination puzzle.
Attendees will also have the privilege to listen to Mr. Rubik speak and to participate in a Q&A session following a demonstration by professional speed cubers Bill Wang and Thomson Clarke.
Special remarks to be made by Her Excellency Mária Vass-Salazar, Ambassador of Hungary, Dr. Benoit-Antoine Bacon, President of Carleton University, and Dr. Rafik Goubran, Vice-President (Research and International).
This event is organized by the Hungarian Embassy to Canada, Carleton University and Carleton University Hungarian Students’ Association.
Advance registration is required to attend this event.
