In response to the virtual lynching of Nobel Prize winner Tim Hunt, Athene Donald posts a blog questioning whether the invective comments and the pressure for him to resign because of comments that painted him as sexist were merited. Instead of attacking an individual with no history of, in fact, behaving in a sexist manner, she suggests that we all turn our attention to taking proactive steps to ensure women succeed in science and academia.
