We are currently seeking LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, etc.) individuals to participate in study on LGBTQ+ health and well-being. Anyone who is LGBTQ+ and 18 years of age or older is welcome to participate in this anonymous online study. The survey is only available in English, so participants must also be able to read and understand English.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals as they relate to well-being. We will be asking you to fill out a series of questionnaires relating to your background, how you identify, mental health, sense of well-being, group membership, as well as your experiences as a LGBTQ+ person.
The study can be completed on your own time and will consist of an anonymous online questionnaire that will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. As a token of appreciation, you will have the opportunity to win one of ten virtual gift cards worth $50.00 (CAD) each (odds of winning: 1/15 participants) via an automatic and anonymous draw that takes place at the end of the survey. Winning participants will be able choose one of the following: Amazon.ca, iTunes Canada, Best Buy Canada, Roots Canada, Boston Pizza Canada, and the Bass Pro Shops Canada.
