Rachel is leading collaborative research with Environment and Climate Change Canada and SiREM. Their research combines analytical chemistry, microbial cultivation, whole-community sequencing, and toxicology assays to better understand how microbes can control the toxicity of persistent organic pollutants that occur in landfills.
