Environmental Science at Carleton extends beyond the classroom to laboratories and field stations all over the world. We hope our undergraduate students become engaged in research with faculty members at the university and with researchers and scientists outside of Carleton.

Undergraduate research is a key component of our programs. Students may endeavor to work with faculty members and their laboratory groups on cutting-edge research projects. There are multiple ways to get involved including volunteer work, group project, undergraduate thesis, NSERC summer research positions, and via our research\directed studies course.

We invite you to look at faculty research interests and find ways in which you can get involved.
