I completed my fourth year of undergraduate degree in Carleton’s Mechanical Engineering program in the spring of 2023. While looking for a summer job I found a posting to be an undergraduate research assistant with Carleton’s Energy and Particle Technology Laboratory. Becoming a research assistant seemed to be a great opportunity to expand my studies and develop technical skills in an Engineering Environment.
My work this summer is focused on measuring the flame propagation of aluminum powder in the EPTL’s new batch reactor
