I have completed my third-year study of Physics of Science at Carleton University in the astrophysics stream. From years of development, I have realized I am both interested in science and engineering. When I learned physics in my third year of university, I also learned engineering knowledge including PLC systems for CVD machines while working in a company. This was a great opportunity and allowed me to get in touch with nanoparticle research.

For my career, I think research highly involved in both science and engineering knowledge is the best for me. Therefore, I attend the EPTL summer program as my coop. I work under Prof. Jacques Albert, and Prof. Reza Kholghy building a phase-sensitive optical detection tool by using flame spray pyrolysis (FSP) technology. From this experience, I can deeply understand optical fibers, flame spray pyrolysis, plasmonic effects, etc. This is a great opportunity for me to get in touch with cutting-edge technology and material science. It also helps me improve my research ability thus being a better researcher.
