I recently completed the second year of my undergraduate degree at Carleton University in the Aerospace Engineering program, specializing in Space Systems Design. I have always had a passion for engineering and the design process and have enjoyed the challenge of developing these skills in the classroom. Upon graduation, I hope to become a professional engineer and work in the Aerospace industry.
As I began to explore opportunities to apply my knowledge in an engineering setting, the work of the EPTL was very appealing to me. The research opportunities available in the lab present challenges that allow me to cultivate my skills in an engineering environment, working closely with experienced lab members. My work this summer is focused on oxidation of metallic particles for sustainable generation of energy.
In my spare time, I enjoy taking advantage of Ottawa’s numerous outdoor activities, such as golfing, fishing, and boating.
