A multi-disciplinary group of researchers from Carleton University, Université du Québec à Montréal, and Univerité deMontréal, led by Prof. Mario Santana at Carleton, have been recently awarded a $1.65 Million NSERC CREATE grant titled “Engineering Students Supporting Heritage and Sustainability.” The grant supports the training of graduate students in the area of heritage conservation of structures. Prof. Erochko is a co-applicant on this grant and will be providing expertise in the area of earthquake engineering design and analysis.
