Congratulations to Professor Sarah Casteel on receiving the 2016 Canadian Jewish Literary Award in Scholarship for Calypso Jews: Jewishness in the Caribbean Literary Imagination (Columbia University Press). The Canadian Jewish Literary Awards was founded by a group of prominent writers, editors and scholars to celebrate the vibrancy of Jewish literature and 
culture in Canada.
The gala awards ceremony will be held on October 30, 2016 at 2 pm in the Tribute Communities Recital Hall, Accolade East Building, York University 4700 Keele St.
The winning authors will be present to speak and to autograph their books. All are invited and admission is free.
