Indigenous Collection Edit-A-Thon, Onsite Gallery, December 13th 2019, 2:30pm-5:30pm:
Join in for a celebration and a preview of the Virtual Platform for Indigenous Art pilot! On December 13th, 2019 the Virtual Platform for Indigenous Art community edit-a-thon will bring together communities of Indigenous cultural specialists and developers from across Canada to continue shaping content and protocols within the VPIA. The event will begin with an introduction of the beta version VPIA, explaining the goals and methodologies behind the project, and will then invite participants to contribute content to the VPIA through on-site engagement with the platform. The edit-a-thon is designed to both test and troubleshoot the VPIA pilot and to build a stronger community of VPIA users.
