MASc Candidate

Christian, born and raised in the Ottawa region, graduated with distinction from Carleton University’s mechanical engineering bachelor’s program in 2015. Christian has gained experience in project management through a 16-month work-term at Energy Ottawa prior to graduation. His current research is on quasi-static and dynamic characterization of multiphase polymer-particulate systems. The focus of this work is optimizing these systems to improve soft armour against specific ballistic threats. Christian’s work received third place in the best poster competition (Metal Physics) at the 28th Canadian Materials Science Conference in June 2016.
