Join the Mawandoseg Center in collaboration with the Carleton University Student Association and the Office of the Provost and Vice-President (Academic) on September 30 for Carleton’s Every Child Matters Event in recognition of Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
This gathering will create a shared campus moment to honour and remember the children,
families, survivors and communities affected by the residential school system, while
encouraging continued learning, reflection and participation beyond September 30.
The event forms part of Reconciliation Beyond, Mawandoseg’s broader campaign
encouraging the Carleton community to continue engaging with truth and reconciliation beyond
a single day of recognition.
