Biography
Ismael was a PhD student and research assistant in the Sensor Systems and Internet of Things Lab at Carleton University. He earned his PhD in Systems and Computer Engineering from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. He also holds an MSc and BSc in computer engineering. Ismael professional experience spans over 15 years in computer networking, software engineering and development, communication systems, routing protocols, computer simulation, and the Internet of Things (IoT). His research interests include IoT, software-defined networking (SDN), Cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), network virtualization, resource management, and resource-aware routing.
