The IRRG Knowledge Café Workshop convened IRRG students, alumni, and Government of Canada security professionals for a full day of learning, discussion, and networking. The spring session, held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, in the Edwards Room of Ottawa’s Metcalfe Hotel, emphasized practical approaches to integration and resilience across the federal security community.
As a biannual forum (spring and fall), the Knowledge Café explores national and international security and critical infrastructure resilience issues, encourages sharing of best practices, and fosters peer support and trusted networks among practitioners and emerging leaders.

Participants engaged in roundtable exchanges and informal conversations that strengthened collaboration across roles and departments. The workshop format encouraged knowledge sharing and practical insights relevant to day-to-day security operations and long-term resilience planning.
