Language teaching options with Office 365 in the cloud

All members of the Carleton community have access to Office 365. This includes tools like Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. You can download and install Office locally on your computer or log into it online “in the cloud.” In this session we will look at the latter. I was not able to find anyone who is actually using these tools in their classes (if you are, please let me know), so I would like to explore the tools together…because I can see a number of opportunities for:
- collaborative writing with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- getting student feedback with Microsoft Forms
- providing instructor feedback on student writing with Word
- interacting in real-time with Microsoft Teams
